"I can smell you, Wispy Boy!" -Alan, to an invisible William Wisp during their duel.
Alan is a fighter in the pit fight in S2 Episode 3: Dude, Where's Our Car?, up against William. After the fight, he and the Prime Defenders become allies. As an NPC, he is played by Bizlychannel, aka Bizly.
Description[]
Appearance[]
Alan is an inhuman man with obsidian gray skin made of stone, who is 11' tall with extremely wide shoulders (described as being wider than all 3 of the Prime Defenders combined). He wears tight red pants and has a large titanium chain wrapped around his chest. He is entirely bald with glowing yellow eyes, described as looking more like "holes in his head" than eyes by Bizly.
He also fights with the chain kept around his chest, effectively using it as a whip. He is also capable of jumping extremely high, and possesses extreme physical strength.
Personality[]
Alan is someone who typically answers his problems with anger and violence. He is untrained and moves in a fight on pure aggression. He speaks in the 3rd person and often screams. He sometimes does not know his own strength, as he "breaks everything he touches" (evident in S2 Episode 4: Atlas Shrugs when he breaks Vyncent's yoyo when simply trying to play with it -- which he feels bad about). He is shown to be fairly unintelligent, taking the bait of William telling Alan he was "in [his] pants" when he went invisible, and Alan in fact checks his pants to rule this out. Despite this, he also observes that Dakota isn't smart either, calling him "not too bright" when he is confused at Xavier's identity with and without his glasses on.
While under William's Compel, it seems that he has an inner desire to be loved and cared about, as well as a sensitive side as evident by him asking Will of his own volition "Why can't [they] be loved?" and saying that "[They] are nice.", as well as telling Will that his feelings matter. He admits that he "feel[s] a lot all the time" and feels that no one understands him, and he cannot help but get angry very often. He also admits that he never tried talking about his feelings, though.
After the fight, in S2 Episode 4: Atlas Shrugs, when he, Cantrip and Xavier return to help the Prime Defenders take care of possessed hero Atlas, he is friendly to William especially and seems to be working on addressing and opening up about his emotions, saying that he is feeling vulnerable.
All things considered, he is pretty friendly and fun-loving despite his anger and strength that he can't entirely control.
Background/History[]
Alan is from another planet than Prime. He describes his home as being mostly rocks and sand.
He cares a lot about his mother (called "Mama June") back home, feeling sorry towards her for being angry a lot, but still seeming to be upset towards her for apparently sending him to Prime despite him not wanting to go. He interprets this as her not wanting him, which hurts his feelings. He wants to go home very much.
He vaguely explains that he got stronger by lifting many heavy things continually.
Trivia[]
- He considers sand to be just "ok", in general.
- His mother is apparently even larger than he is. He describes Mama June as "biggest".
