Geography[]

Allport is a large port city that sits along a massive, mountainous land formation that seems to go past the clouds. As you get closer, the walls of the mountains guide a path towards its concrete portcullis gate, which is rectangular from the outside but angled like an A within it. As ships enter, a large sign reading Allport hangs from a large arch. Water flows into the city through the right, but exits left.

The city itself has a towering central mass, with wooden sloping buildings and streets that layer almost like a cake. Outer sides of the city float on wooden structures. On the right is majorly humble homes, belonging mostly to fishermen or other people of sea-based occupation. Fishnet is used in some homes as window curtains, and many of the people have jewelry made from fishlines. At the right is another external town, with many races bustling through.

Where the barge meets the canal are many races and people, docking and bartering as ships pass through. Many house cats roam through the streets, and the roads of the city seem to create roofs over the lower-level buildings. The lower levels slowly incline farther into the city, clinging like barnacles to the walls designed to hold a second level of buildings. Above the second level, even higher, only accessed by elevators is a dome-like structure, too high to see details of.

Past the entryway is a central hub of different entry and exit ports, with numbers above each archway, 8 in total. The higher level buildings have more wealthier citizens, and its a large rectangular shape with one long road. Its buildings are made out of more different woods and stone with golden and silver décor.

Notable Locations[]

The Tank[]

Beneath Allport is an underwater tunnel that leads to a steel crank door, which can only be accessed by those able to breathe underwater. It is watched over by a purple grung, who asks for a password. Upon entering, the area is like a large aquarium with clear glass around the tunnel with fish swimming on the outside. There is an underwater bar partway through the corridor, everything oceanic like seashell furniture and decor. Many underwater races mingle here, such as merfolk and tritons.

Darkport[]

Darkport is known as one of the worst areas in the city of Allport. It is infamous for hosting countless shady people and being a place where forbidden and illegal cargo would be delivered, full of enough dangerous individuals that not even the Navy dares venture into it. With very few entryways, the main area to enter it is through the East port of the city. It is made of tall buildings that are crafted on top of each other and slope into a second level, much like the rest of Allport. The buildings are much closer together and create wall-like structures though, and are clearly rundown, made from a mix of wood, brick, and moss. Cloth and tapestries hang from each building, overlapping and forming a sort of roof over the wooden pathways. Darkport is ground level, and water from the ocean ripples just beneath the floor. Because of the cloth that blots out the sun, most of Darkport's light is made from paper lanterns and globes that are hung sporadically on shawls and some of the buildings. Rung ladders lean up to balconies and other levels of the buildings.

The Porthole[]

Accessed by descending a ladder on the second level of Allport (Golden Circa Market) is a large ship is built into a wall, repurposed as a multi-leveled tavern called The Porthole. It has small buildings between the mizzenmast and the foremast, connected at the central mass of the ship. The atmosphere is described as "enthusiastic and warm", despite being a little grimy. There are steps leading up to the hull, guarded by a "muscular" minotaur, who will only allow access if patrons can recite a rule from the pirate code. Inside, there is a bar against the back with booths lining the wall. There are circular tables that appear to be for crews to gather together, no matter the size. There are multiple levels, including a hatch below that leads to another. The structure of the ship is still visible, with the masts extending into the hull. The tavern in often full, giving it an excitable environment, with the smell inside described as "foul".

Bed, Bolts and Beyond[]

Bed, Bolts and Beyond is a shop where you can buy armour or get yours repaired. It is also where you can get lost in the Beyond Section, which is locked behind a secret passcode. Once the passcode is spoken, an employee takes you down a silent staircase to a portal to the Black Sea. As stated by Kira in Episode 101: Daughter of Violence, The Beyond Section is at least somewhat controlled by R.A.F.T.

Passcode: "The brotherhood of bolts is black, but our bed is laid beyond."
