Captain Beau T. Rose was known for his peaceful approach to piracy. His love for connecting with people, for discovering secrets of the world. Those secrets were his treasure. He never cared for authority, or status, all it took to be his friend was a mutual respect. The legacy of the black rose inspired many, until it was washed down the hole in the sea.
Background/History[]
During his hayday, Captain Rose was infamous for being a respectful pirate that befriended people from across Mana. While Navy propaganda portrayed him as a violent captain who held islands captive, many people welcomed him and enjoyed the delights he offered. As seen in Episode 112: Light in the Dark, he hosted things such as banquets that were depicted by the news negatively.
In the events of The Hole in The Sea prequel oneshot, Rose was pulled into the sea along with the rest of his crew. During Drey, Finn, and Arlin's exploration of the strange underground dungeon they found themselves in, they came across Captain Rose. He had been corrupted by black ooze and attempted to attack them. Drey shot him in the final blow and they left Rose's hat as a marker for his death. It's possible Rose expected his death based off an audio log left in the treasure discovered in Episode 112: Light in the Dark.
