"I have a book that makes things die, what do you want?!" - Connor

Connor is a player character in Mythborne. He is played by Bizychannel, aka Bizly.

Description[]

Appearance[]

Connor is a 5'8" boy with dark brown, unkept hair. He wears a yellow t-shirt with the logo of the tech company Bofa, cargo shorts, white socks, and beat-up Ground Force 2 sneakers (The Mythborne equivalent of Air Forces).

Personality[]

(WIP)

Notes: A shy kid in his youth! Turned to escapism in books.

Background/History[]

(WIP) As revealed by his player, Bizly, in a series of tweets[1], Connor grew up spending a lot of his time in the hospital accompanying his brother who had a terminal illness. He mentions that time not spent in the hospital was often with friends Aster Aeliana and Ryan Selucreh, however. As his brother's legal guardian due to having no parents (the details as to why they are not in the picture is not revealed), he had to care for him. Connor loved his brother a lot, as the book he used throughout Mythborne is revealed to be something he found while researching ways to cure said brother -- something that clearly took up a lot of his time. His goal was to master power over death in order to keep his brother alive, heavily driven down that path.

Trivia[]

  • Grizzly headcanons that, after a number of years chasing mysteries, Connor passed away due to a rat apocalypse. This is touched upon by Aster in the JRWI What If: Interdimensional Gameshow.
    • He also calls Connor "Aster's only love". Bizly states that he feels Connor had romantic interest in Aster as well, but would never have pursued a relationship with her due to not being in a good place for it.
  • Bizly says in his rundown of Connor's potential future story & backstory that he thinks Connor would have lost his brother in the end, and seconds the idea from Grizzly that Connor himself later died, though intends to keep "that idea more open ended" as to how.
