Personality[]
Daybringer Solomon is only seen to be a soldier, intent on killing vampires to destabilize their society. He has no empathy for the kindred he kills and makes it clear he is disgusted by the things happening in the club. He is strongly religious and despite his generally stoic disposition he yells out many anecdotes and quips during the heat of battle.
Background[]
During the Grimslayer raid on Elysium, Daybringer Solomon was the secret weapon the Grimslayers needed to achieve their goal of taking out the mayor. When the first round of stakes didn't kill Mayor Thorne, Daybringer Solomon was sent in through the broken skylight in the middle of the club. When he landed he went after Mayor Thorne immediately, bursting off his arms and legs the second he touched down. The mayor continued to fight back, trying to bite Solomon despite having no limbs. His fangs broke on Solomon's armor, allowing the Grimslayer a moment to hold out his hands and turn the mayor to ash. After this a few vampires turned their attention to Solomon, Deacon Keller firing off a number of gunshots at him, Mary Davis sharpening her fingers into bloody claws and slashing at him, and Renwick the Ravenous trying to stab him with a sword. Mary was immediately grabbed by Solomon as her skin began to sear and burn, and Renwick thought he successfully stabbed him but his sword was actually underneath his armpit. Solomon targeted Renwick after this, uppercutting him hard enough to knock him in the air towards the skylight where he turned to ashes immediately. Emizel Tucker jumped down on him next, trying to stab him with his sharpened hands. Solomon deflected the blow easily, then with another blade sliced off Emizel's arm. A shadow tentacle crashed down on Solomon, engulfing him in darkness for only a moment before a flash of light and flame burst out to dispel the shadows. This fire burned off most of Emizel's skin and injured him greatly, but he still got up again to throw steaming blood in his face. As Solomon was disoriented by the blood Emizel managed to headbutt him hard enough to make his armor rattle, but not enough to truly hurt him. Emizel tried to run away, but he was so damaged that he had barely made it a few feet before Solomon made the sign of a cross at him and he evaporated into ash.
