"It was always gonna come to this, you and me!"
Gabriel Montez is Emizel's sire and a member of the Fangs, he is played by Slimecicle.
Description[]
Appearance[]
Gabriel is a vampire man, with skin so pale his veins are almost visible. He has pointed ears and glowing red eyes, as well as short brown hair. He wears small diamond shaped black earrings, and has a slit in his left eyebrow. He is muscular, and wears a white tank top to show off his arms, as well as a black tattoo of a tiger on his left forearm. Over top of this shirt he wears a ripped black vest and some layered necklaces. His low waisted black pants are held up by a black belt with a silver buckle.
The first modification Viv and Vex made was turning him into a monstrous spider amalgamation. He was given mismatched arms from many different people, and his torso was turned into a disgusting tendril-like mess, leaving only his face on top of a metal skeleton the same.
The second modification made put him back into a humanoid form, now with an augmented skeletal structure and bone plating around his body. He looks much more put together and competent in this form.
He was put back into his original form before his pit fight with Emizel. This left him with bloody lacerations across his skin.
Personality[]
Gabriel is very rash and impulsive, with little to no respect for authority and the safety of others. He isn’t adverse to violence and has killed and injured many people. He’s loyal to the Fangs, partially out of anger towards Emizel and the Demons. His obsession with redeeming himself to Viv and Vex drives him forward, alongside vengeance and anger. His respect for the masquerade is very minimal, but he understands enough about vampire society to know when to hold his tounge and listen to authority. He is not very smart, deflecting real questions and discussions with one-liners and quips.
Background/History[]
Gabriel was the leader of a small group of Fangs, and eventually did well enough in his leadership that he met Viv and Vex to be turned into a kindred. He had not been a vampire for very long when he beat up a number of Demons on Demon turf. Emizel and Soda were sent to check up on the two members that hadn’t come back. Gabriel tried to get the jump on Emizel from the top of a building, but Emizel saw him coming and hit him with a metal pipe. The two fought, Soda attempting to help but being thrown back by Gabriel’s superhuman strength. Gabriel gained the upper hand, and grabbed Emizel’s neck to bite him. As he was sucking Emizel’s blood, Emizel snapped out of the trancelike state the bite would usually put someone in and bit Gabriel back. This threw Gabriel off and he backed off in shock, then after Emizel passed out from strain Gabriel dragged him to safety in an alley.
After his failure with Emizel, Viv and Vex used Gabriel as the subject of their next experiment. He was given metal plating underneath his skin, as well as an amalgamation of mismatched arms from many different people attached to a tendril like body with tentacles sprouting out of it. He was physically much larger as well.
Gabriel called Emizel from a Demon’s phone, threatening to kill all the people in the Demon’s hideout. Emizel had memory issues from his confrontation with the Unseen One, and was very confused about the people and places Gabriel was talking about. At the end of the chaotic phone call, Gabriel said Emizel needed to come in 15 minutes or he would gut all the Demons regardless of whether Emizel remembered them. Emizel came along with Shilo and all the residents of Riverside Senior Living, and he left his twin and the elderly people outside while he went in to confront Gabriel. Emizel pretended to not see Gabriel waiting in the rafters again, and smacked him in face with a metal pipe as he dropped down. The two had an intense fight, and in the end Gabriel stabbed Emizel through the heart with a bone skewer. At that moment Shilo and a couple of old people walked through the door and saw Emizel impaled on one of Gabriel’s spikes. As he was carrying Emizel up into the rafters, he turned back and told Shilo that the Weylin twins sent their regards. He realized Shilo and Emizel were twins after a comment made by the prince, and decided to grab Shilo as well. Gabriel stabbed him in the leg, then after Shilo tried to drive away he ran after him to stab him through the windshield of the bus Shilo was driving. Once Shilo escaped, he gave up the chase and brought Emizel’s body to Viv and Vex in their warehouse.
After Emizel escaped from the warehouse, Gabriel was modified even further by Viv and put back in a more humanoid form. He now had bone plating around him, and was much faster and more agile. He was locked up in a cage for a time as he was experimented on.
When Emizel, Shilo, Grefgor, and Soda infiltrated the Weylin twin’s warehouse, Gabriel was set loose to chase after Emizel who had stolen a truck and tried to drive away. He caught up to the car quickly and pulled out a gun to try and shoot Emizel, but the shot missed and Emizel was able to throw a wrench and break Gabriel’s knee, leaving him unable to chase the truck anymore
A couple of days later, he was brought to Edward Twilight’s fight pit as punishment for repeatedly breaking the masquerade. He was put back into his original unmodified form before the fight to even the playing field between him and his competitor. That competitor was Emizel, who finally learned his name as the two were both allowed to drink a full body of blood before they began. Emizel suggested the two of them try to escape after healing, but Gabriel argued that all the vampires onlooking would kill them immediately. The brawl began, and the two were extremely evenly matched as Emizel had gotten his abilities from Gabriel. Despite Gabriel having been a vampire for a longer time, Emizel was consistently slightly better at him in everything he did. The ensuing fight was sad and anticlimactic, going on for a very long time and consisting mostly of banter and weak attacks. Eventually Emizel emerged victorious. He briefly considered sparing Gabriel, but ultimately decided to kill him, curb stomping his head and leaving him a pile of blood and flesh.
During the Cullen Games, when Emizel emerged onto the battlefield he was confronted by the reanimated corpse of Gabriel, searching for revenge against Emizel. Emizel explained why he looked like Shilo and the two fought, but Gabriel was already injured from previous fights in the games and went down quickly. Once he was in torpor, Emizel committed diablerie on him and after a brief struggle sucked his soul out, finally killing him. His voice echoed in Emizel's head afterwards.
