Goobleck is a plasmoid monk and an honorary companion of the Riptide Pirates. He first appeared in Episode 75: A Sticky Situation. He is played by Slimecicle, aka Charlie.

Appearance[]
Goobleck is a 2' tall purple plasmoid[1], aka a type of ooze, with stubby legs, no arms, and bright neon green eyes and mouth. He wears a purple cloak. In place of arms, he has many tendrils of the goo he's made up of that peek out from under his cloak and act similarly to limbs. He's capable of physically manipulating his appearance at will to virtually anything.
Personality[]
Goobleck is fairly compassionate, attempting to comfort Jay, Chip, and Felipe throughout his time with them. However, because of his lack of changing facial expressions and tonal shifts, he often comes off as threatening. He displays a desire to seek out knowledge, asking people questions or extracting information from their blood.

Background/History[]
Goobleck's first appearance was at Kas' Karnival, after Gillion had disappeared due to pulling the Donjon card from the Deck of Many Things[2]. He often parrots simple words and phrases, speaks in short or broken sentences and has a habit of taking trace amount of blood of anyone he comes into physical contact with. When he does this, he is able to gain memories from whomever the blood belongs to -- how many and how well he can recollect them seems to be dependent on a dice roll.
In Episode 79: Regrets & Reflection, it is revealed that Goobleck originates from Doctor Ooze's lab and was supposedly a failed experiment.
Goobleck says in Episode 80: The Docotor that he has eaten exactly 91 people. Doctor Ooze reveals in the same episode that the type of plasmoid that Goobleck is can spread their DNA to other creatures and turn them into more plasmoids. Therefore, Goobleck is some level of a homebrew race compared to the base UA plasmoid.
Goobleck has frequently been a subject of bits in various episodes after Episode 81: All Falls Apart teasing that a version of him hides and lives on the Albatross. He interacts with the crew in secret, even adding his own page to Gillion's "If You Give a Fish a Family" book.
