"I do not respect the yod."
Grangle the Gangrel was a masquerade breaker in the Cullen Games. They are played by Charlie Slimecicle
Description[]
Appearance[]
Grangle is a white haired, androgynous vampire. They have particularly pale skin and red eyes, as well as animalistic features which are common in Gangrel. He looks similar to the white animals he keeps with him.
Personality[]
Grangle is very practical and is in the game to win. They made an alliance with Shilo only because they believe he will be able to help them, and even when Shilo advocates for talking with the other competitors Grangle only wants to take the straightforward path of killing them. He sees himself as a hunter and his motivations are animalistic. They do not have empathy for humans, being willing to kill or leave behind humans if it benefits them. Despite being generally pragmatic he is not the smartest, as demonstrated through his death.
Background[]
Pre Canon[]
Grangle used to use his animals to rob shops, but eventually the white animals became too suspicious and he was accused of breaking the masquerade. He was put into the Cullen Games as an interesting masquerade breaker from Los Angeles.
During Canon[]
In the Cullen Games, Shilo was walking through the woods when he saw a number of white animals. He saw a white fox, deer, squirrel, and rabbit which looked peaceful at first until Grangle walked out from around the corner. Shilo saw Grangle pick up a small bird from the ground, and it's feathers turned pure white in their hand. Grangle looked at Shilo and told the animals "feeding time," at which point they all attacked the prince. All the animals attempted a hit on Shilo, but when Grangle himself went at him Shilo convinced him that they could work together. Grangle was hesitant, but agreed. After some discussion it became clear Shilo didn't have much to offer them, but he convinced Grangle that having Arthur on their side would be more than enough of a benefit. The two eventually reached a small stream which Shilo could not cross, and the two split up because Grangle did not want to wait for Shilo. When they met back up, Shilo had picked up an old man and a younger woman with the intentions of saving them. Grangle asked if they were food and Shilo lied, saying Ben was "bait." Shilo told Grangle to go on ahead while he waited for Arthur, and Grangle left him alone with the two humans. As Arthur touched down, he intimidated Grangle into running away. Grangle ran back towards the barrier and tried to burrow under it, not realizing it went deeper than the ground. Their final death was being incinerated by the boarder.
