"Emizel what the fuck?"
Jeffery Tucker is the adopted father of Emizel Tucker. He is played by Charlie Slimecicle.
Description[]
Appearance[]
Jeffery Tucker is a pale human man. He is blond with thinning, slicked back hair, shaved on the sides. His mustache is thick and contributes to the angry expression almost always on his face. He wears a button up blue shirt over a white undershirt, which fits tightly over his dad bod. His tan khakis are held up by a brown belt. He wears a watch on his right hand.
Personality[]
He is unkind and generally angry, especially towards Emizel. Their relationship is described more like an employee and boss than a father and son, and the two had such a bad relationship that Emizel first wanted Shilo to fully erase his existence from Jeffery's memory, and eventually erased his own memory of Jeffery. He's not the smartest and is much more focused on his business than anything else.
Background[]
Pre Canon[]
When Emizel was born human and Shilo was born a vampire, The Queen sent Emizel to live in LA with Jeffery. The circumstances around why Jeffery was chosen and the nature of his relationship to the Queen are unclear, but the two did not have a romantic relationship and Jeffery was not the biological father of Emizel. Jeffery kept correspondence with Umber Castle, and The Queen kept tabs on the area. He raised Emizel for as long as he could remember, and the two lived together in a bachelor's pad above Jeffery's shop, No Brakes Car Repair. Emizel worked at this shop under his father.
During Canon[]
The day Emizel was turned into a vampire, Jeffery had asked him beforehand to grab him some oil. He refused, shouting profanities at Jeffery and running off to the Demons. Afterwards, he didn't see Emizel for days as he adjusted to his vampirism. Three nights later, Shilo Bathroy and Grefgor came through the Darkened Door into No Brakes Car Repair. After encountering Emizel and Arthur Bennett fighting in the street outside the shop, the prince and the guard went back into the car repair shop and made a lot of noise, waking up Jeffery who was sleeping upstairs. He came down into the shop, and seeing him coming Shilo and Grefgor held stakes to their hearts and played dead on the ground. At the same moment he saw the two vampires, Emizel walked through the door.
Emizel gave Jeffery the oil he had requested days ago and told him Shilo and Grefgor were foreign exchange students. Despite his story being extremely bad, Jeffery believed him and just as he was about to agree to let the two vampires stay in the shop for the night Arthur burst in and restrained him with shadows. Arthur explained because Jeffery was a mortal, leaving him alive having seen vampires was in violation of the masquerade, a very important code of vampire laws. Arthur told Emizel he could either kill Jeffery or someone needed to change his memory to make him forget the vampires he had seen, and while Emizel didn't have any issue with killing him he instead asked Shilo to modify his memory and make him forget Emizel existed. Shilo instead changed just his memory of the night, telling him he had heard a noise in the shop and it had been a rabbit, and he had chased it around and made a bit of a mess but eventually had gone to sleep and had a good night. As soon as the command took hold, Jeffery passed out from the shadows restraining him. Emizel dragged him back upstairs and put him in bed.
At some point in the next few days, Jeffery was attacked in his shop by people working for Viv and Vex Weylin. The two used their informants in the gangs to find out who Emizel's father was and killed him in his own house to get back at Emizel for infiltrating their base. They left a large mess at the shop, which later made it clear that there had been a struggle. His body was turned into ghouls that looked like Viv and Vex respectively to use as body doubles when Emizel next attacked them.
Trivia[]
