Description[]
Appearance[]
Julian Booker is a male Gnome who has blue eyes and black hair that is styled in a large pompadour. He is slightly taller than the average Gnome and has a thin, broad, pointed face. Julian wears full black leather and studded fingerless gloves. Julian is also described as having a small tattoo on his wrist.
Personality[]
When the Riptide crew first met him, Julian came off as very serious and tough. It was later discovered that this was an act to impress his, then girlfriend, Abigail, who had gone missing. Julian is then shown to be somewhat of a coward but also kindhearted. Before they leave, Gillion trains Julian, despite eventually enjoying it, it is unclear how much it affected him personality-wise.
Background/History[]
Julian started a revolution against Mayor Rolan after his, then girlfriend, Abigail Loffin, went missing. He later was knighted by Gillion and became the new mayor of Loffinlot.
While waiting for Gillion to return from behind a magically sealed door, Chip attempted to shave Julian's pompadour. Thankfully, this failed.[1]
A while after the Riptide Pirates left Loffinlot, Julian sent them a letter to inform them that Loffinlot was flourishing and that the ex-Mayor, Rolan, had died. He also mentioned having married Abigail, who was the daughter of Rolan. According to the letter, he and Abigail are expecting a child in the near future.[2]
Letter to the Riptide Pirates[]
Dear Pirates,
Hey, what’s up? How’s it going, what you doing? It’s your main man Julian from Loffinlot. You remember? Yeah, you remember right? Hey! I’m just writing a letter here, hope it gets to you sometime soon. Let you know that the island is doing better, like a LOT better, we expanded into the forest so no more alleyway town of Moorestead. Actually, we’re going to rename it to Tidestead now, y’know, since I was knighted by the man himself. Hope you don’t mind. Hope you come visit sometime.
We’re working on building more ships and we’re gonna enter the economy and shit and... people are a lot happier in general, although... there were still some ups and downs and trials and it was tough to cope with the loss. Especially now that Abigail’s father has passed. But hey! We’re mister and missus Booker now and we got a mini Booker coming in the future. So, just writing to keep you updated.
Safe sailing and keep changing the world.
